Discipleship Requires Internet Accountability:

A Must For All STUDENTS!

'What if you could send a report of your Internet activity to a friend or mentor so you could talk about where you struggle online? What if your accountability partners could see the sites you visit, the YouTube videos you watch, and the search terms you use? Internet Accountability is not about catching someone red-handed. It’s not even a filter, blocking content outright (though filtering is available). Instead, Internet Accountability is a report of your Internet activities, designed to start a conversation, helping you make wiser choices about Internet use. Meaning the temptation to click on inappropriate and pornographic links is reduced.

Such accountability is remedial—corrective, counteractive, and often leads to a curative experience.

NHE is in the process of setting up new service with an Internet Accountability service. Currently we are with Covenant Eyes, which has switched from Internet Accountability to Screen Accountability. Which NHE believes is a great protective tool, but doesn't serve our purposes best. We'll let you know when the new service has been contracted.

In the meantime, any person who enrolls in NHE's Find True Identity Discipleship MUST download the app of NHE's Internet Accountability service to all their devices (currently that's Covenant Eyes). And stay signed in to Pastor Ron's account, for accountability and conversation.

  • First, download the most recent version of Covenant Eyes (CE) to each of your devices (and be sure to keep your devices updated with the most current CE version).
  • Second, contact Ron to be added to his account (a MUST for all students and accountability partners!)
  • Third, login to CE on each device using Ron's credentials.
  • Fourth, contact Ron for any changes in devices or maintenance needs.
