True Repentance Demostrated: PART 11
How Should We Respond?
As Christians we are encouraged to speak truth cushioned in love (Ephesians 4:15). We may be responsible to protect the young. We may be responsible to judge the evidence of grace in a person’s life. We are responsible to create open conversation about brokenness, so that God may use us to present His love in and through the Gospel. While looking for true repentance and saving faith in the lives of repentant souls, we are to be wise, and love with a gentle expectation of finding God’s grace.
Thank you for the opportunity to share how God has and continues to work in my life, and how we as Christians can respond to those who have once been entangled with some sexual brokenness, that might even include age appropriate issues.
Remember in your dealings with broken people, we were all born broken and only Jesus can heal our damaged emotions and disordered thinking. Only Jesus is the answer to both our sin-dead problem and our sin-habit problem.
The leopard can’t change his spots, but the Creator can wash the leopard spotless—‘white as snow’!
Be washed... Be made new... Be changed...
