About Pastor Ron
Ron Browning has been privileged to journey alongside sexually broken men for more than twenty years. As one who spent over two decades held captive by various sexual brokennesses—specifically homosexuality—from a child to a young adult—Pastor Ron has been there—broken and overcome. But on October 31, 1994 God reached down and captured his heart with a true repentance that ignited his soul with authentic faith in Jesus Christ. Grace set him free! (Titus 2:11-15).
Pastor Ron founded NewHeart Expressions in the Fall of 2002, as a sovereign grace approach to the exchanged Life. His emphasis is on how God’s grace captures the hearts of broken men and sets captives free. To that end, he has been commissioned by Network 220 and licensed by World Ministry Fellowship to preach, teach, and counsel men from God’s Word, on how to ‘live free’ from sin’s lust—from disordered thinking, destructive choices, and damaged emotions.
Motivated by a heart of gratitude for the freedom he now enjoys, Pastor Ron spends much of his time on Zoom discipling men (sometimes their wives and children too) through what he calls NHE’s Find True Identity Discipleship. Diving together into God’s Word and into Jesus’ Life—into the Life of the One Who brings real help and healing—lasting and significant change.

My Story
Whoever believes in the Son of God has the testimony in himself…
And this is the testimony, that God gave us eternal Life, and this Life is in His Son.
1 John 5:10-11
When I share my story, though mine, it’s really the Testimony of Jesus’ Life living in and through me. Jesus is a Testimony’s.
It’s not about me. It’s about the One who has rescued me from sin and self. The One Who influences me with truth and wisdom, day after day. The One who transforms me from who I used to be, to the new Life living in and through me.
Not only that. The Testimony isn’t about one event. Sure, it begins with rescue and new Life, but it continues with all the exchanges that new Life brings about, year after year, decade after decade. It shares The Testimony of new Life living in and through me.
So, here’s my story as it evolved over time.

Every day at my piano, my gaze lifts to the artwork above it: two majestic bald eagles soaring together, rising effortlessly on the wind. This image captures the breathtaking freedom I’ve found in my new Life in Christ. For years I was chained—bound by destructive habits that led to deep shame, shattered relationships, and pain inflicted on the vulnerable. I felt weighed down, grounded, unable to rise. But Jesus broke those chains. Through His grace, forgiveness, and transforming power, He lifted me from bondage. Now I’m truly free—free from crushing guilt—free to soar instead of crawl. As Isaiah promises, those who entwine themselves in the Lord will exchange their strength for His and soar like eagles. This photo reminds me daily of my healing and the freedom that carries me higher than I ever imagined.
