idMe: Find True Identity's Blog
Last week Hope and I were in our discipleship group from Church. During our fellowship together we recognized one of our pastor’s strong faith in God. Faith that weathers every storm—heart attacks and bypass surgeries… and now cancer with all its treatment and struggles. As we went through
What is Christian Freedom?  Pastor Ron’s blog title: Live Free coz’ U r Free! begs an answer. What is true freedom? Significant and lasting freedom? Years ago, I began sharing this amazing truth with those God brings across my path. Because I want every student I disciple to know and
A Healing Soul... ... ... I am a wife, mother, grandmother, daughter, friend, nurse. The list goes on and on. The order of the list changes over time. For many years I identified myself as a sexually abused victim. Over time, that identity became that of a sexual abuse survivor. Now it is a part

Verse of the Day

Find True Identity NewHeart Expressions

It's our passion to introduce you to the Perfect Lover. His name is Jesus—the Great I Am! The true God and eternal Life (1 John 2:20). Our sovereign Lord and forgiving Lamb. Our saving Life and rescuing Liberator. Our all-wise Leader & Light-Source of grace & truth.

The perfect Lover of our souls!

I am my Beloved's and my Beloved is mine (the Song 6:3)

NewHeart Expressions (NHE) is the ministry platform for Pastor Ron Browning's outreach to sexually broken men. Find True Identity Discipleship (FTID) is NHE's discipleship path for exchanging our brokenness for the PEACE of God's freedom and wholeness. The help and healing Christian men need to walk in God's POWER and on God's PATH, both sexually and relationally.

When a God-given repentance ignites our hearts with saving faith in Jesus Christ, an inexpressible joy embarks us upon the most exciting journey:

Galatians 2:20; Colossians 1:27; 3:1-4

A journey of reflective discovery and redemptive recovery. Where disordered thinking is reprogrammed, destructive choices redeemed, and damaged emotions remediated. A healing of the soul: of how we think, choose, and feel. About God and others. About ourselves and our struggles. Really, about everything!

Though the journey of reflection and redemption is often difficult, even painful. The Gospel (i.e., Jesus) is God's power to rescue us from the disorder, destruction, and damage—from the chaos—of life-shattering addictions and the false identities of delusional intimacies. Setting us free to learn to live free, in and from Jesus' Life living within. Where we learn to live from God's perspective. Now with that reality in mind we invite you to disciple with us, as we dive into God's Word and God's Life together.

How, you might ask?

NHE's Find True Identity Discipleship offers such an opportunity. An opportunity to surrender to God's call to repent and believe (Mark 1:15), with a repentance that leads to a Life of saving faith in Jesus Christ (Act 11:18). Then as God's children, we dive deeply into His Word. Because God has called us to the Faith Walk—a Life driven and lived by faith. Ignited by repentance. Fueled with believing. Resting in the Peace of the Power and the Path of God's Life (NHE's Triple P).

Consider God's Word:

So we see that they were unable to enter the rest (of God's Life) because of unbelief... (but then we see) we who have believed enter that rest... having passed from death to Life (Hebrews 3:19; 4:3; John 5:24)

I have been crucified with Christ. It is no longer I who live, but Christ who lives in me. And the Life I now live in the flesh I live by faith in the Son of God, who loved me and gave Himself for me...    Christ has set us free to live a free Life. So take your stand! Never again let anyone put a harness of slavery on you (Galatians 2:20, ESV; 5:1, the Message).

God did this because He wanted you... to understand His wonderful and glorious mystery. And the mystery is that Christ lives in you, and He is your Hope of sharing in God’s glory... So if you’re serious about living this new resurrection Life with Christ, act like it. Pursue the things over which Christ presides. Don’t shuffle along, eyes to the ground, absorbed with the things right in front of you. Look up, and be alert to what is going on around Christ—that’s where the action is. See things from His perspective... Your old life is dead. Your new Life, which is your real Life.... is with Christ in God. He is your Life (Colossians 1:27, CEV; 3:1-4, the Message)

For the Word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart (Hebrews 4:12, ESV)
